Tuition $100 + $40 materials fee. Class limit is 8. Saturday, October 5th from 9 am to 3 pm (includes a lunch break). Randi is a paper, book and box artist. Her interactive work includes large constructions with multiple drawers that hold tiny books. See this on her website. Small paper houses with books inside and toys that flip, roll and snap are another focus. In her class you will embellish paper to create luscious texture, rich color and the look of leather, bark and stone. The papers you will create are strong cover papers and flexible enough to fit into the corners of whatever you use them for.
Randi has taught at Pacific NW Art School, Focus on Book Arts, and Newport Paper and Book Arts Festival.
