Join this engaging workshop where we'll make ordinary materials do extraordinary things - becoming crank-driven flappers, paper cup robots, and other fun kinetic toys that expresses characters, or tells stories. The driving mechanisms will be mechanical linkages and cranks. We'll explore how form and function work together and inform each other. Each participant - young or old, will have the opportunity to be as wonky and creative as they like, and to make the project their own! Ages 5-teen, registration is required.
