About this Event
I think we all need a little joy right now. Later this month (April 26) is Indie Bookstore Day, and I'd love to be able to add a little bookish art to the store before that day. I will be in the store on Sunday, April 6, and Sunday, April 13, and I'm going to be pulling out a bunch of ARCs (advance reading copies) that would otherwise need to be recycled, and making art from them to hang from our ceiling.
I'll also be hanging new twinkle lights and said paper art at some point before April 26, probably the Monday or Saturday before Easter, and volunteers to help with that process would also be welcome.
If you'd like to join me, please RSVP so I make sure to have enough supplies on hand.
Please also bring, if you have them:
- scissors
- staplers
- glue guns
- paper punches
I'll have string/yarn, fishing line, glue sticks/glue, staples, a larger paper cutter, colored pencils and markers, crayons, and other crafty supplies.
