Adulthood symbolises freedom, but it also symbolises responsibility and sacrifice. We can no longer cry without restraint, nor can we simply choose to give up; often we must bite the bullet and press on. Even when dreams are replaced by reality and life is filled with responsibilities and pressures, through glimpses of light in life's storms, we continue with gentleness and determination. Perhaps, this is the meaning of becoming an adult—keeping a warm heart in a complex world and proudly saying, "I have finally grown up."
