PAPANGU (BR)
PAPANGU is a progressive rock and avant-garde metal band formed in 2012 in João Pessoa, Brazil. Hailing from the easternmost point of the Americas, the group blends stoner and sludge metal with Brazilian folk music and the dissonant experiments of modern jazz and avant-metal. Their debut album Holoceno (2021), a critically acclaimed environmentalist concept album, quickly launched the band into the forefront of heavy music in Brazil.
Their sophomore release Lampião Rei (2024) sees the Papangu delve further into Brazilian music and modern jazz-rock, featuring guest collaborators from bands like French legends Magma, Deafkids, Test, and Ad Nauseam. The album was recorded by Latin Grammy-winning engineer Fernando Sanches and mixed by Berlin psychedelia expert Richard Behrens, known for his collaborations with Elder and Kadavar.
Band is composed of Hector Ruslan (guitars, voice), Marco Mayer (bass, voice), Vitor Alves (drums), Pedro Francisco (guitars, voice, percussion, harmonica, flute, saxophone, keys), Rodolfo Salgueiro (keyboards, voice)

GOING NATIVE is an experimental rock/funk instrumental trio with a classic lineup of drums, bass, and guitar. The music is inspired by various animals and shapes its tones and rhythms based on the behaviour of each creature. The soundscape is imaginative and informal, with room for multiple genres, playfulness, and improvisation.
Going Native is a local band from Aalborg, consisting of Jonas Rode Hvass, Hasse Thorup Stephansen, and Mikkel Skotte Sølvkjær.
