The Botanical Perfume-Making Workshop — Step by Step
The workshop is designed as a journey through scent, divided into three immersive parts that gently guide you from knowledge to experience and creation.
Part 1 — A Short Lecture: The History of Perfumery
We begin with an inspiring, accessible presentation supported by slides. You will discover how perfumery evolved from ancient rituals, sacred resins, and botanical extracts to the fragrances we know today. This introduction sets the context and opens your senses, inviting you to experience perfume not just as a product, but as culture, craft, and story.
Part 2 — Exploring Botanical Ingredients
In the second part, you are introduced to over 60 botanical fragrance materials— essential oils, absolutes, and natural resins. You will smell, compare, and learn how these ingredients behave, how they affect mood and perception, and how they interact with one another. This is a moment of curiosity and discovery, where your personal scent preferences naturally emerge.
Part 3 — Creating Your Own Perfume
The final part is a focused, calm creative session. Guided step by step, each participant composes their own unique botanical perfume using only natural ingredients. This is a moment of deep concentration and intuition — a chance to translate emotion, memory, or mood into scent.
You will leave the workshop with a bottle (10ml) of your own handcrafted perfume, created entirely by you, to take home and wear.
No prior experience is required. The workshop is open to anyone who wants to slow down, engage their senses, and create something truly personal.

For one day only, the ceramic studio becomes a charming, alchemical workspace. Clay gives way to scent, and the tables turn into perfume benches filled with botanical essences, resins, and oils. Here, you will create your own personal perfume — guided step by step, using your hands, your senses, and your intuition.
It’s a rare chance to experience the space in a new way: to slow down, immerse yourself in scent, and leave with a bottle of your own handcrafted botanical perfume, created entirely by you.
