Teacher Student Relationship – Panel Teachings
Sunday 9 June – 5:30pm
In Diamond Way Buddhism, the Teacher, or Lama, is a central figure who provides inspiration and guidance. They show an example how a realised being behaves and benefits people. The student, for their part, needs to critically check out the teacher to see if they are someone they can rely on.
A qualified teacher, or lama, is a living reflection of our own perfect qualities, and the resonance we feel with them is essential to using the quick and direct methods of Diamond Way Buddhism. Fortunately, lamas are people we can meet, ask critical questions of, and even travel with. Today, our contemporary examples include Lama Ole Nydahl and H.H. the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje.
The lecture starts at 7:30pm. Please join us to find out more, ask any questions that you have, and take part in a guided meditation.
Cost - $15
