Join the Rikers Public Memory Project and collaborators for a unique panel discussion about Rikers Island’s impact on young people in New York City. The evening will begin with a panel of people who have experienced Rikers and the legal system of NYC firsthand as adolescents and young adults. Next, a panel of advocates and service providers will discuss the current landscape of programs that serve at-risk and system-involved youth. To close, all panelists will join together for an audience Q&A.
