Meet the panel:
Mal Tayag (moderator):
Mal is a multi-hyphenate extraordinaire. In her career thus far, she has worn the hat of: photographer, brand and art director, designer, and entrepreneur. Having worked to launch and support many brands, Mal is presently flexing her creative chops as the director of Schema Agency.
Francis Arevalo:
Francis is a hip-hop artist, music producer and artist manager with his company UWIDO. Whichever form his creativity, life and work are expressed through, the common threads are approaches of thoughtfulness, curiosity, sensitivity, play and imagination.
Ciele Beau:
Ciele is a muralist, illustrator, painter and designer. Her work focuses on the human condition, our emotional responses and everyday experiences. Never one to be afraid of colour, Ciele loves to create paintings, illustrations and murals using bright bold hues and playful imagery. As part of a personal practise, Ciele also derives influence from her experience having Synesthesia - a condition where the brain mixes up the senses and stimulation of one sensory pathway leading to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory pathway. For example - when Ciele listens to music she FEELS colour and SEES shapes. She has created a painting practice around this experience that allows her to translate sheet music of her favourite songs into colour on the canvas. (Learn more about synesthesia and her 'Sound To Colour' paintings here!)
Ryleah Shae:
Ryleah is the founder and owner of Sincerely Studio (as well as one of the co-creators of Tombolo). As an experiential designer and brand activator, she has a passion for bringing your BIG ideas to life. Ryleah acts as an extension of your brand marketing team, taking creative risks, embracing colour, and helping you and your brand boldly take up space.
