This free community event will kick off with a vibrant networking happy hour, providing the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow changemakers and community leaders. Following the happy hour, attendees will be inspired by a dynamic panel featuring some of Portland’s most influential Latina leaders across various industries, including economic development, nonprofit leadership, the arts, healthcare, and more. These remarkable women will share their unique journeys and discuss the transformative work they are doing to shape Portland's future.
Panelists include:
Nicole Davidson León, Executive Director of the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, who will discuss economic development and the vital role Latinas play in shaping Portland’s business landscape.
Dr. Montserrat Andreys, Founder of Hey Doc Clinic, who will share her journey as a healthcare provider and entrepreneur, highlighting the importance of culturally responsive care.
Mika Martinez, Visual Storyteller and Arts Educator, who will explore how Portland can better support the arts and artists, how her projects have built community, and the role of art and culture in developing and strengthening our city.
Co-Hosts:
Viridiana Ponce, a Small Business Finance Consultant specializing in helping food and beverage businesses thrive.
Ashley K. Stoyanov Ojeda, Author of Jefa in Training and Business Strategist for multicultural entrepreneurs and thought leaders.
Viridiana and Ashley also co-host Jefa PDX Meetups, where local Latinas gather monthly to create impact and connect with each other.
