A conversation with Assistant Curator Lakshika Senarath Gamage, Associate Curator Maggie Bell, and Head of Conservation and Installations John Griswold"Gold: Enduring Power, Sacred Craft" is the Museum’s first major exhibition uniting a selection of objects from its extraordinary holdings in European and Asian art, explored through the presence of gold. Join Lakshika Senarath Gamage, Assistant Curator, Maggie Bell, Associate Curator, and John Griswold, Head of Conservation and Installations, in conversation about these recent discoveries, which contribute to a broader understanding of the significance of gold in the spiritual, cultural and artistic practices represented in this exhibition.
