Relationship Talk with Kari - Jealousy & EnvyJealousy and envy, two emotions we often hide, misunderstand, or try to avoid, are also some of the most deeply human experiences we encounter in relationships. Whether in romantic, platonic, or professional dynamics, these feelings can surface unexpectedly, challenging our sense of security, connection, and self-worth.
This talk is an invitation to take a closer, more compassionate look.
What are jealousy and envy really telling us?
How can we respond to them in ways that strengthen, rather than strain, our relationships?
And how can we use them as entry points to build emotional maturity, clarity, and confidence?
We’ll explore these emotions from a wide lens, looking at how they show up in friendships, work dynamics, and daily life, as well as within non-monogamous and diverse relationship structures.
This conversation is for anyone, regardless of relationship style, who is open to meeting these feelings not as flaws, but as natural reflections of our human experience. When we stop resisting them, they can become powerful tools for insight, growth, and deeper connection.
The evening will include:
- A grounded conversation led by Kari, who will share personal experiences and therapeutic insights
- Space for gentle sharing and reflection among participants (optional)
- A guided group exercise focused on emotional regulation and self-awareness
