- A dialogue between our host Fredrik (DJ Huxby) and our guest Paul White
- A Q&A session where attendees get the chance to pick the brain of a true veteran, an OG DJ with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
- A musical performance where Paul White shares a personal selection of tracks he loves, no crowd-pleasing or expectations, just a raw expression of what’s currently moving in his heart.
This event invites us to connect with the artists we love on a deeper level. Through an intimate dialogue followed by a live Q&A with the audience, we’ll explore the story behind the music and the mind behind the decks.
What led Paul into electronic music and the rave scene? What fuels his creativity? Who and what have shaped his artistic journey? These are just some of the questions we’ll uncover together.
About the Guest – Paul White
Paul White is a veteran of Oslo’s underground electronic music scene, known for creating transformative dancefloor experiences rooted in intention and connection. His eclectic sets blend tribal rhythms, euphoric melodies, and deep baselines, drawing from genres like techno, electro, trance, house, and more niche sounds such as dark disco and cumbia.
With a 7-year residency at The Villa and appearances at major events in Norway and abroad, Paul has long been a respected presence behind the decks. He’s also a passionate promoter and co-founder of Morning Beat, Norway’s first conscious/sober rave concept, and currently co-organiser and resident DJ of OMG and Soria Gathering.
About the Host – Fredrik Bekkby
Fredrik is a key figure in Norway’s underground rave scene, a sound enthusiast, DJ, and community activist. With nearly a decade in the scene, he’s known for delivering high-quality Funktion-One sound and supporting countless events across Oslo. His passion for sound, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit, has made him a respected name both locally and internationally.
This gathering marks the beginning of a new event series designed to bridge the gap between artist and audience, offering a space for meaningful connection, shared insight, and a deeper understanding of the art, values, and spirit of our rave community.
