The iconic Louise Brooks stars in this brand new, full-length restoration of the incredible tale of the rise and inevitable fall of an amoral, naive young woman whose insouciant eroticism inspires lust and violence in those around her. Encapsulating the promiscuity and adventure of the roaring 1920s, Brooks IS Lulu, a woman so compelling that few can resist her charms.
The second of 3 entries in our “Performing Cinema” series, the screening will be followed by a Q&A led by composer and educator, Timothy Dunne.
