About this Event
The PAnaesthesia conference in Brisbane is the established forum for delivering the latest updates in Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine in Queensland. Learn from leading internationally recognised experts, whist covering all domains of your ANZCA CPD.
For a busy anaesthetic practitioner, attending this conference provides the opportunity to take some much-needed time away from routine work and reflect on the nature of our practice, to share ideas and experiences with colleagues to learn and evolve as better practitioners.
This year tailored session on morbidity and mortality with audience interaction will once again attract ANZCA CPD quality assurance points. The full contingent of ANZCA CPD workshops are back again in 2024, with demands for workshops high and places limited.

Optional Saturday & Sunday Workshops
In addition to the Conference, optional Workshops will be held on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of October.
PLEASE NOTE: To attend workshops you must be registered also for conference attendance on the day of your workshop. Some workshops will run consecutively – please only register for ONE workshop for each session.

What's the cancellation / refund policy?
To request a cancellation of your registration contact Zach at the PA Research Foundation: [email protected] / 07 3180 1840. Please note the refund policy below:
If the conference is cancelled by the organiser, attendees will receive a FULL refund, including Eventbrite fees.
If an ATTENDEE cancels their registration, they will receive a refund as described below, less the Eventbrite fee. The ATTENDEE cancellation/refund policy is below:
• Registrations cancelled more than 14 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fees (less the Eventbrite fees for each ticket, which range from $5.00 - $22.50 per ticket, depending on the price of the ticket).
• Registrations cancelled 14 days or fewer before the event will not be eligible for a refund · unless registration can be transferred (in the case of waitlists for workshops).
Refunds will be made to the payment method used to purchase tickets. For PayPal payments, funds will be refunded back to the PayPal account. Please note that PayPal may not refund their fees.
