If there’s one constant with Sam Don, it’s a dedication to moving his audience through music. Whether that’s playing out at clubs across the world; uncovering gems for his sold out ‘For The Love of You’ and ‘Just A Touch’ compilations on Athens Of The North; his exploratory Free Association show on Soho Radio; or his new record label, Sweet Free Association - Sam is all about discovering unique sounds that bring life to the dance floor.
Following his ‘Just A Touch’ tour, taking in 10 countries, Sam’s international profile continues to rise - with a trip to Japan and debuts in some of his favourite cities booked for this year. When in London, Sam continues to delve into the broadest reaches of all that is soulful, presenting individualistic selections to his dedicated listeners each month with his radio show and label, which recently reissued a rare 1984 release by Carl Moore. The next Sweet Free Association releases are already in the works.
A voracious digger, Sam can often be heard showcasing his expansive tastes on guest mixes for the likes of Mr. Bongo, Phonica and Danilo Plessow (MCDE).
