The topic for the retreat will be: Humility: The Cornerstone of Christian Spirituality According to Sts Silouan and Sophrony of Essex
Fr. Paul Truebenbach joined the parish of Sts. Peter and Paul in 2017. Previously, he had served as the Assistant Priest of Holy Trinity-St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Cincinnati, OH and as the Presiding Priest of Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church in Cheyenne, WY. Fr. Paul joined the Orthodox Christian Faith in 1996 with the majority of his family after converting from Lutheranism. It was while attending the Jesuit Gonzaga University, however, that he truly fell in love with Orthodoxy after encountering the Church’s many modern Saints. In 2008, he married his wife, Lavinia, a Romanian studying in the United States. Together, they have three children. After taking a short sabbatical in order to continue pursing a Masters in Counseling, Fr. Paul was overjoyed to be called to service in Salt Lake City at Sts. Peter and Paul. Fr Paul became the presiding Priest on August 1st, 2021.
