This year, People Active with Lincolnwood Schools (PALS) will hold our second annual fundraiser in support of Teacher Appreciation Week. Last year our inaugural Pals and Pints event raised over $8,000 which was used to fund Teacher Appreciation Week 2024. With these funds we were able to decorate teacher lounges, cater hot meals and snacks, provide goodie bags including gift cards, raffle gift baskets, and were even able to recognize bus drivers with a gift card and candy! We are excited to announce that we are expanding the goal of this fundraising event to also raise money to fund college scholarships through our historic John Cahill Community Service Scholarship for SD 74 graduates! We are grateful for our community members who have donated items for our silent auction which will start on February 10th. The auction is open to the entire Lincolnwood community and you do not need to attend the event to participate. Auction items include a private tour of the Lincolnwood Fire Department, Cubs tickets, swim lessons, tutoring, wine tastings, gym memberships, passes to children’s activities, gift cards and more!
The event on February 22nd features local food and refreshments, a fundraising raffle, and other fun surprises. The Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation will be hosting a sports themed “Kid’s Night In” at Lincoln Hall from 7pm – 11pm. Pizza and refreshments will be served.
