Join Palomar College's Pride Center for a very special screening of I Saw The TV Glow followed by an in-person conversation between the film's casting director Abby Harri and film critic Grace Byron! The screening will take place on Palomar College's San Marcos campus on February 27th at 5:30pm. Come early for community and refreshments.

I Saw The TV Glow (2024)
Teenager Owen is just trying to make it through life in the suburbs when his classmate introduces him to a mysterious late-night TV show — a vision of a supernatural world beneath their own. In the pale glow of the television, Owen’s view of reality begins to crack.

Abby Harri
Abby Harri is a BIFA-nominated casting director, director, non-actor acting coach, and casting scout. She was recently named a 25 New Face of Independent Film in Filmmaker Magazine. She specializes in non-traditional casting and finding new talent on films such as Jane Schoenbrun's We’re All Going to the World’s Fair (Sundance 2021), Anna Cobb's feature debut; Savanah Leaf's Earth Mama (A24, Sundance 2023) with newcomer Tia Nomore; Riley Keough and Gina Gammell's War Pony (Cannes Camera d'Or, 2022); the Safdie Brothers’ Uncut Gems; Seasons 1 and 2 of HBO’s Euphoria; Jane Schoenbrun's feature I Saw the TV Glow (A24, Sundance 2024); Pulitzer-Prize-winning playwright Annie Baker's film debut Janet Planet (produced by Academy-Award-winner Dan Janvey, BBC Films, and A24); and Zia Anger's feature film debut (post-production, MUBI) based on her critically acclaimed performance My First Film.
Grace Byron
Grace Byron is a writer from Indianapolis based in Brooklyn. She used to make films. Her writing has appeared in The Cut, Vogue, Bookforum, and The Baffler among other outlets. Grace wrote the

Visitors may park in Lots 1 and 2 (off of West Mission Road in San Marcos) free of charge during the screening. Parking in all other lots and at all other times will require a paid permit, which is availble via ParkMobile.
