On the 26th of January each year, City of Palmerston commemorates the day with our official ceremony; welcoming the country’s newest residents in a special Citizenship Ceremony, raising the National Flags of Australia and presenting the prestigious Palmerston Australia Day Awards.👏🏆The 2025 ceremony will be hosted at the Palmerston Recreation Centre from 1pm on Sunday 26 January, with community members encouraged to attend.
Cultural performances are integrated throughout the official proceedings and free light lunch is served on conclusion of the proceedings.
Join us as we celebrate the achievements of our community members and welcome our newest citizens to Palmerston.🥳
