Matt Hopper is an Alaska-born songwriter and guitarist known for his sharp lyrical voice and deeply human storytelling. Originally from the Anchorage area, Hopper has built a career rooted in folk, Americana, and roots-rock, earning respect as both a performer and a writer. His song “False Alarm” was recorded by The Head and The Heart, a testament to his songwriting craft. In a solo acoustic setting, Hopper delivers stripped-down songs that highlight strong melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and an easy, intimate connection with the audience.
