Hands-on embroidery day with Palestinian lunch included
Following many requests Helen is returning this year to offer another Palestinian embroidery day, this time looking at cross stitch Palestinian embroidery in the Tatreez tradition.
“We have selected a lovely motif from the Gaza region this year. It is based on a pomegranate flower. We will turn our embroideries into a card which can be used over the festive season.”
All abilities welcome; join us for a relaxing, informative day with a simple Palestinian lunch and good company.
Workshop tutor: Helen Barnes
Helen is an artist who has worked in textiles teaching and exhibiting works for many years and will ensure that you get the most out of the session.
