About this Event
Objectives:
· Create an underpainting or initial layer which serves as a base for subsequent layers of paint
· Analyze ideas from underpainted spirit card
· Design paintings that will be a more inspired over
Description:
Create your own underpainting and spirit cards in watercolor. You’ll have the chance to analyze the lights and darks of your proposed subject. After painting the spirit card, you will trace a sample or use your own drawing to paint from. You will leave the class with a finished painting and a set of spirit cards.
· All necessary materials are provided
· You may bring your favorite materials such as brushes and watercolor paints
· You can bring a photograph or drawing of a simple subject that you took or obtained from a copyright free source from which to paint or the instructor will have some you can use
· Bring an apron or wear your painting clothes
Only 15 seats are available for this workshop. You must be at least 16 years old or with an adult.
This workshop is held at the Grand Theater in Old Town Lewisville. The address is 100 N. Charles Street and we will be in Classroom 1.
