10.30am - 4.30pmPainting with acrylic will involve making up a palette, mixing, brush choice, thinking about light and shade, and an introduction to acrylic paint. The first part of the class will be lead by the tutor, with students participating. The second part will involve individual painting project.
There will also be consideration of composition, exploring methods of application, thinking about depth and texture, as well as looking at further techniques and skills. Reference material will be available, but participants are welcome to bring reference photographs/sketches.
Participants will have painting(s) to take home after these workshops. Designed for all levels of painting experience. Classes will involve some learning through experimentation with the medium.
