Using substrates like cardboard, vintage bingo cards and a small canvas this painting class is not for those hoping to walk away with a realistic portrait of their grandma or poodle to hang in the formal living room. This workshop is geared more for fans of googly eyes and a firm belief that everything is better with a pompom on it. Part painting and part assemblage no two weirdos are ever the same, but every single one is amazing. This workshop is a great chance for students to examine why they may call themselves a crafter, but dare not use the term artist. We will discuss and bust through those myths and fears one wacky portrait at a time.
Everything is included and students will leave with a canvas, bingo card and as many pieces of cardboard as they would like to paint.
