Please join us for a unique opportunity to explore the reflective quality of glass focusing upon the fascinating history of Dutch roemers.
About this Event

Join us this autumn as the journey continues into the rich world of the Dutch Golden Age of painting. Together, we will explore the topic of reflective surfaces so often found in the themes of the 17th Century. For this workshop, we will focus on the iconic Dutch Roemer (see Carlo’s painting of goblets above) with the coiled glass footing and decorative prunts that made this object so unique in the world of glassware. Carlo will be teaching from The Mill Studio of Fine Arts in Manchester, CT. Artists who wish to work in the studio with us should register sooner rather than later as there are a limited number of studio spaces available.
