About this Event
Join Arin and the Brothers Cascadia team for an evening of craft and communit. Learn how to paint a "Cascadia" scene - Mount Hood reflected in a foresty alpine lake. No experience necessary and all supplies included.
Date: Tuesday March 17
Time: 6pm - 8:30pm
Location: Brothers Cascadia Brewing (Vancouver WA)
I'll teach you how to paint a beautiful mountain lake scene with watercolors! We will warm up by exploring our color palette as always. I will begin by demonstrating my techniques to landscape painting in watercolor, focusing on how to paint a mountain and its reflection in a perfect mirror lake. You'll then be able to apply your new skills to your own painting, following along as I show you each step of the way.
You'll take home a finished Pacific Northwest landscape painting. You'll also leave with a set of artist's skills that you'll be able to directly apply to future paintings - whether you paint in your bedroom or plein air out in nature. A limited palette of watercolors and high quality watercolor postcard paper will be provided at the event, but you are encouraged to bring your favorite painting supplies as well. Please contact [email protected] with any questions!
Food and drinks are not included in ticket price, but can be purchased separately to enjoy while we paint. Venue is all ages, and we'll be in a private space away from the main crowds. Spaces are limited, so make sure to reserve your spot soon. See you there!
