About this Event
Celebrate your pet—or any animal that brings you joy—in a colorful and creative way! Join us at Hope Haven Farm Sanctuary on Saturday, September 21, from 10 AM–1 PM for a special art experience with local artist Beth Slagle.
The day begins with a guided farm tour, where you’ll meet our rescued farm animal residents and enjoy the beauty of early fall on the Sanctuary grounds. Then, settle in by the duck pond for a step-by-step painting class. With Beth’s guidance, you’ll create a vibrant portrait of either your own beloved pet (just bring an 8.5 x 11 photo) or one of the farm animals you’ve just met. No experience is needed—everyone will leave with a finished 11 x 14 matted painting to take home.
Yummy plant-based snacks and refreshments will be provided. All supplies are included—just bring your inspiration (and a photo if painting your own pet).
