Come relax with us for an evening of painting and printmaking at our mixed media workshop taught by local artist Jazmine Martinez at the PBS Utah News Studio. In this workshop, Jazmine will guide you through dynamic techniques for crafting a terracotta pottery-inspired painting, complete with relief printed decorations inspired by ancient Mesoamerican designs. Experience the joy of mixed media art as you blend textured acrylic paint with stunning embellishments using your very own hand carved (reusable!) rubber stamps. You’ll leave with insight into symbolism from ancient worlds, a beautifully unique work of art and the knowledge you need to continue your painting and printmaking journey!All supplies provided and no experience necessary.
