Inspired by the weather and the beautiful surroundings at Mud & Wool, using a variety of materials – such as ink, drawing pens, oil pastels, watercolour… Claire will guide you through ways of minimising and deconstructing the landscape.
The following work Morlun, produced on an Artist Residency at Mud & Wool in 2024 Claire won the Sherry Taylor trophy in the Abstract category at Cowbridge Art Society’s 2024 Winter Exhibition and is an example of Claire’s current practice, which is wholly inspired by the sense of wellbeing achieved from being in and interacting with nature.
