About this Event
Imagine standing along the quiet stretch of Skellenger Road just as the morning light begins to filter through the frost. In this workshop, we’ll recreate this striking scene: a vibrant orange fox perched atop the roadway to the NJ School of Conservation, serving as a bold focal point against a minimalist winter forest.
This painting is perfect for both beginners and seasoned artists. Its folk-art charm and simplified shapes allow you to focus on color theory and composition without getting lost in overly complex details. It’s about capturing a feeling—the stillness of the woods and the wild spark of a fox on the move.
Materials are included in the fee; all you have to bring is excitement and some confidence.
You are welcome to bring snacks. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
This program is open to adults and youth ages 14 and up. Participants under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited to 12 artists.
