About this Event
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) invites you to an Emergency Tabletop Exercise for Painted Rock Dam. The exercise will bring together key partners and stakeholders to discuss the Emergency Action Plan and strategies for effective emergency response. This type of event is crucial for ensuring that everyone involved is on the same page when it comes to emergency action plans and response strategies. Public Information Officers (PIOs), Emergency Managers/Responders from Federal, Tribal, State, County, City, and Non-Government Organizations that are impacted by the Painted Rock Dam are invited.
The exercise will be held in-person and virtually on 18 September 2024, starting at 8:00 a.m. and concluding at 12:00 p.m. Arizona Time. We encourage you to attend in person. These exercises depend on the ability of participants to build relationships and foster communication.
As part of the agenda, we will test our Painted Rock Dam Emergency Action Plan in case of an extreme storm event that impacts local communities.
Please indicate whether you will be attending in person or virtually.
