About this Event

Painted Pumpkin Collages

Your child will love creating their own mixed-media pumpkin patch in this fun Saturday afternoon session with d'Art Associate Artist Alison Sykes-Fryer!

Your child will have a guided session of painting papers with their choice of acrylic colors, then use oils pastels to design their "ribs". They'll enjoy a quick snack as a group (please send a small snack that contains NO nuts of any kind) before they begin cutting and assembling their collection of pumpkins onto a background which they may embellish if desired.

  • Ages 6-12 years old
  • Saturday, November 8th, 2025
  • 1:00-3:30pm
  • Snacktime mid-session, please send a small snack for your child that contains NO nuts of any kind)
  • Drop off at 1:00pm, please be on time!!
  • Pickup promptly at 3:30pm.

$30 Early Bird Price valid through 10/25/25

$35 General Admission 10/25-11/8/25.

Orders allow for 1 registration per order. Please only register 1 child per order.



About the Instructor

Alison Sykes-Fryer is an artist known for her distinctive collage work that captures the texture of place, memory, and personal experience. An award-winning artist, Alison has developed a visual language rooted in layered materials, vibrant color, and an intuitive sense of composition. Her main practice focuses on mixed media and collage, combining acrylic inks and paints with fragments of local print media to create evocative images that convey emotion, atmosphere, and narrative. Each piece she creates is an exploration—whether of a moment in time, a connection to the landscape, or the human relationship to place.
