Painted Paper Collage Workshop at Steel House South

Join artist Lea Freni for a hands-on painted-paper collage workshop inspired by her exhibition NEW LANDSCAPES , on view at The Steel House Gallery.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will experiment with color, texture, and form as they create custom papers and transform them into original collage artworks.

All ages, no experience necessary.

Participants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Art is messy, please dress accordingly!

About the instructor:

Lea Freni is a Midcoast Maine-based designer and artist with a decade of experience in the fashion industry. She is a co-founder of Create Collective Workshops and the Design Manager for the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. Freni is passionate about art education and exploring surface design techniques with creatives of all ages and skill levels.
