Discover the timeless art of fresco painting with celebrated artist Melissa Mulder. A fresco is created by pressing flora and foliage into plaster and then layering pigments to capture both texture and colour. While Melissa will demonstrate her full process, your hands-on experience will focus on painting your own pre-made plaster panel (5 x 5) to take home.
Melissa’s work preserves the fleeting beauty of flowers and nature in stone, transforming fragility into something lasting. With her guidance, you’ll learn how to bring depth, colour, and movement to a fresco surface, exploring techniques that make each piece one-of-a-kind.
