Combine art and nature at our Paint with the Sunflowers event on Friday, July 25, from 6-8 pm. This is a wonderfully unique opportunity to create a beautiful sunflower painting in the heart of a gorgeous sunflower field. The two-hour class will take place at The Suns Flower, 2956 County Road 92 in Lindsey. Guests will gather outside, sit in the sunflower field, and paint a charming still-life featuring a lovely sunflower bouquet and Americana birdhouse in acrylic on a 16" x 20" canvas. This project includes an optional final step where you apply a wash to the canvas to give it an antiquish effect. No painting experience is needed, as our instructor, Joni, will lead you step by step. Guests will also be treated to a wagon ride and photo walk provided by The Suns Flower before or after the painting class. The cost of this event is $45.00 (non-refundable) per person. The price includes the painting class, the entry fee into The Suns Flower, the wagon ride, and the photo walk. All are welcome to bring snacks and beverages; alcohol is allowed for those 21+, and you may want to bring sunscreen and bug spray. Rain date is Monday, July 28 (6-8 pm).
