Paint the Town Pink - a breast cancer awareness celebration - hosted in partnership by the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk Committee and Cancer Support Community South Central Indiana (CSCSCI) will be held on October 23rd 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Bloomington Country Club.We’re excited to share that after 25 impactful years, the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk Committee will be passing the torch to CSCSCI to continue to honor the legacy of Melody Martin, a passionate advocate for breast cancer awareness, providing not only encouragement to women to have a voice in their own care, but also resources to support them through treatment and to help continue to celebrate survivors in our community.
This celebration is a heartfelt occasion where we will:
• Enjoy a happy hour with friends, supporters, and survivors.
• Present the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk T-shirt quilt to CSCSCI, a beautiful symbol of our journey, which will be displayed in the CSCSCI office.
• Provide access to resources including valuable information and support services.
• Celebrate Survivors, acknowledging the strength and resilience of those who have faced breast cancer.
• Announce plans for the future and continuing to honor Melody’s legacy and the incredible work she has inspired.
