Join us for the annual Paint the Port event in downtown Freeport, IL! This vibrant gathering transforms the streets into a canvas for creativity, welcoming people of all ages to unleash their artistic flair. Our mission is clear: to promote vibrancy and foster creativity within our community.
This year, the net proceeds from Paint the Port will contribute to the completion of the Arts Plaza in downtown Freeport. Specifically, we aim to install the Monumental Gateway and support the general maintenance of this vital cultural hub. The Arts Plaza represents a significant stride in revitalizing our downtown district, offering a dynamic civic space that merges community engagement with art and cultural activities.
We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Freeport Area Eats & Beats for another year, merging art, food, and music into an unforgettable weekend experience! As a bonus, each registered square will receive two tickets to Eats & Beats on Friday night.
Secure your square today for just $15 until Thursday, August 22nd. On the day of the event, squares will be available for $20, but quantities and locations will be limited. Don't miss out on this opportunity to be part of something truly special.
In the event of rain on August 23rd, Paint the Port will be rescheduled to Saturday, August 26th, from 4-8PM. Mark your calendars and let's paint our town with color and creativity!
