Join us at the Tayner St. Community Garden in Douglass to celebrate cancer survivors, honor those who gained their wings in battle, and spread awareness on preventing the cancers that plague our communities.
This year is dedicated to 3 honorable women in the Douglass community who were among our ranks as warriors against cancer. Tiscia Holmes, Bobbie Walker Taylor, and Georgia "Sister" Clark all fought their battles valiantly and left indelible marks in our lives and our communities. We will be lifting them up as ancestors now who will continue to help lead us in this battle.
