Paint the CitySJ

Have you ever tried channeling your inner Vincent van Gough to no avail? Maybe your palette is too dry! The City of San José Department of Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services will be hosting a Painting in the Park series! The first fifty (50) "Picassos" to reserve a seat will be supplied an artist station, including an easel, paintbrush set, acrylic paint, and one (1) free canvas to take home with you!

To better serve our community this season our Paint Nights will be more accessible and community focused. We invite all residents living within the council district zip code of the event to join us.

While this event is free and open to the public, we are only able to offer materials to those who register in advance - so don't miss this opportunity, as reservation fills up quickly!

We kindly ask that you only attend one (1) event per season to allow for other community members to experience this fantastic event.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with a free painting class led by our in-house art instructor for all-ages.

Check-in | 5:45 p.m. (If you are not checked in by 6:15 p.m. your space will be forfeited to allow guests on the waiting list to attend)

Event | 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

*Art materials are free to registered guests however you may also bring your own personal brushes and supplies if you prefer.

By signing up and attending this event, I understand that the City of San Jose may photograph and/or video events or activity in which I am (or my minor is) participating. I give my permission for the City of San Jose to use photographs or video of me (or my minor) for the purpose of promoting the City of San Jose and its services/programs/events.
