Class Description
Awaken your creativity in this guided paint session with artist Georgia Tardy. The theme of this class is the remarkable art of the Ndebele tribe in South Africa. During this special art experience, we will create custom art, paint on sneakers, and learn about the rich artistic culture of the art of the Ndebele women. (Check out this article of renowned Ndebele artist Esther Mahlangu painting AJ1 sneakers). If you want a space to relax, be creative, and catch up with friends, this event is for you!
Paint, Sip & Dip is a unique art experience where you will paint on unconventional surfaces, sip on your choice of beverage, and while your paint dries, dip in our heated, saltwater pool.
2 pm - 4 pm: guided paint session (class will begin promptly at 2 pm)
4 pm - 5 pm: Relax in the pool or poolside while your painting dries
Additional Information
*Sneakers for this class are not provided. This class requires attendees to bring their sneakers to customize. All supplies will be provided and the artist will guide you through customizing your sneakers. White leather or canvas shoes are required to participate in class.
*Everyone who comes to Georgia Tardy Art Studio must purchase a ticket for the class.
