About this Event
Join the DC State Fair and the Washington Society of Landscape Painters in a paint out this August. The Washington Society of Landscape Painters is one of the oldest active art organizations in the greater Washington metropolitan area, tracing its origins to 1913. The group originally consisted of government employees who could only paint on weekends and holidays, and it included artists who had an intense interest in painting outside. The primary focus of the Society today is painting the outdoors "en plein aire" with fellow members and guest artists.
