About this Event
Workshop attendees will learn how to paint on clothing using acrylic paint. We’ll explore visual references and examples for inspiration, then bring them to life on fabric. Participants are encouraged to bring a clothing item they love or something old that’s ready for a refresh. This could be a hoodie, crewneck, jacket, jeans, tote bag, pants, or a thick T-shirt.
This workshop is suitable for those who consider themselves at an intermediate level.
Workshops are recommended for people ages 16 and over.
The workshop is pay what you can! Suggested $20 - $30 to support facilitator fees and supplies.
*There are steps to the entrance, therefore, the space is not wheelchair accessible.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Chish is a visual artist and designer born in Zambia and currently based in Canada. His artistic journey began at a young age, first learning to draw from his cousin while living at his grandmother’s home in Zambia. Early influences from musicians, actors, visual artists, and world leaders helped shape his creative vision and continue to inform his multidisciplinary practice today.
