Plant Seeds for the Year Ahead is a gentle Art + Healing paint gathering for women who want to welcome the new year with intention, creativity, and calm. January is a season for planting seeds of intention, without pressure, performance, or rigid resolutions.

Rather than asking “What should I accomplish this year?”, we’ll explore a softer question: What wants to be tended, nurtured, and given time to grow?

Through watercolor painting, reflection, and shared presence, we’ll honor winter as a season of preparation. The beginning of 2026 is about trusting that clarity and momentum will unfold naturally as spring approaches.

No art experience is needed. This gathering is about presence, not perfection.

This experience is designed to feel cozy, reflective, and nourishing.

You’ll be gently guided through intuitive watercolor prompts inspired by:

• Seeds, roots, and underground growth
• Personal rituals that bring you back to yourself
• The qualities you want to tend to throughout the year

We’ll gather in Ruya’s outdoor patio space, where wooden tables, open air, and golden winter sunlight create a relaxed, grounding atmosphere for painting and reflection. If the weather shifts, we’ll move inside Ruya’s warm, cozy coffee shop.

You’re welcome to paint, journal, pause, or simply sit with your materials.
Enjoy coffee, tea, or wine from Ruya as you create in a space intentionally designed for ease, presence, and connection.

This is a content-first experience. My team and I will capture moments from the gathering so you can remain fully present. Afterward, you’ll receive a private gallery with photos and short video clips to remember the experience or share if you wish.

So much of the New Year asks us to rush forward. Art + Healing gatherings offer something different: a space to pause, listen inward, and reconnect with your own rhythm.
