About Our Venue Partner:
The Wrong Number is a new upscale bar in Winston-Salem owned by Omar Khouri, who used his telemarketer settlement money to make it happen. After receiving 20-30 calls a day despite being on the National Do Not Call Registry, Khouri started to answer the calls, send a demand letter and negotiate a settlement. He averaged between $7,500 and $10,000 per settlement, which totaled around $120,000, and used most of the money to open a new bar, The Wrong Number, which offers a unique experience with craft cocktails and soft seating.
