Join us for a special evening of creativity and culture as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a Frida Kahlo-inspired paint & sip! Paint your very own version of Kahlo's iconic Still Life with Parrot with step-by-step guidance from our teaching artist, Mimi Doyo.
No experience? No problem! We welcome all skill levels. This class is about having fun and making memories, rather than producing a “perfect” painting. We encourage you to paint in a way that feels good for you!
Doors @ 6:30pm | Class: 7pm – 9pm
This event is 21+
$40 per person
Includes paint supplies, one 12x16 take-home canvas, complimentary light bites, and one drink of choice. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options available.
A portion of ticket sales go towards free and low-cost arts education programs for local students through our nonprofit organization, Stay Arts. Thank you for your support!
Amy (Mimi) Doyo
she/her
Amy (Mimi) Doyo is a Filipino-American artist from Norwalk, CA specializing in introspective acrylic and oil paintings. Her creations draw inspiration from family life, memories and cultural identity. Mimi holds a BFA in Drawing & Painting from CSULB and is currently a teaching artist with Stay Arts.
