Sometimes you just need to get out all the brightest colours and be bold! If you’re ready to splash some vibrant colours around painting this cheeky cocky, then you’re going to love this class. Bring a friend, family member or loved one or come on your own for a fun, colourful, creative day out! Saturday 10th May 2025 - 10am - 3pm (SA Time) $165 per person.
In this fun and hands on class, I’m going to show you how to paint your own version of this colourful and cheeky Cockatoo. This class is perfect for beginners, as I’ll break each stage down into easy-to-follow steps. I’ll even paint along with you so you can get a feel for the process.
I’ll share with you my tips for creating depth, texture, and where and how to highlight to make this beautiful guy come alive!
Everything is included including tea or proper coffee upon arrival, the canvases, paint, brushes and aprons. A ploughman’s lunch is also included.
So bring a friend, loved one or relative (or come on your own), make some time for yourself and enjoy this creative day with me.
About The Post & Rail:
The Post and Rail is a Cooking, Gardening & Art School located at 7 Bill James Court Compton, on a picturesque 5-acre property. Classes are held in a normal home designed to provide a relaxed and sociable learning experience. Please allow an extra 10 mins travel time from the centre of Mount Gambier.
We pride ourselves on our professionalism, warmth, spirit of fun and love of painting, especially with friends, old and new.
Every guest receives a warm welcome, tea or proper coffee upon arrival, and their own apron to wear for the duration of the class. Lunch is also provided. All equipment, paint and canvas are provided, and a copy of the notes from the class are emailed to guests so that they can continue their artistic journey at home.
