This ceramic painting workshop is suitable for all ages.Come and create your own ceramic “Christmas” decoration by painting your own design and colours in our 1 hour workshop.
During the workshop you will be using ceramic under glaze paints, on a clay shape. After the workshop I glaze and fire your decoration in my kiln, to complete the process. This brings the colours to life and makes the ceramic strong and shiny.
There will be different shapes available to pick from on the day. (This does not have to be a mountain, but of course it can be a mountain!!) Your imagination is your only limit. The ceramic shape has a hole in the top and when I return the decoration to you it will have a wire hanging loop attached, ready for hanging.
Your beautiful decoration will be available to collect approximately 2 weeks later from The Collaboration. I will contact you after the workshop with a pick up date.
What to bring? – You won’t need to supply anything. Arrive a little early and take a look at my ceramics collection in store for ideas for your workshop. You can pre draw a design, or bring ideas along to paint. The underglaze paints we use all wash off in water and won’t stain your clothes. But if you’re worried please don’t wear anything fancy.
