Calling all Running Santas, Elves, and Holiday Heroes!
Get ready to lace up in your most festive gear and join us for our annual 8 mile pilgrimage from Fleet Feet West Reading up Mount Penn to the Pagoda and back! This self-supported fun run is all about spreading holiday cheer, so don’t forget to bring your own water, nutrition, and tons of energy.

We’d love to see all the holiday spirit! If your group stops at the hill climb sign, snap a selfie and share the fun. And don’t miss our group photo at the top of the mountain – meet us at the Pagoda at exactly 10:00 am!

We’re collecting donations for Bethany Lutheran Church’s pantry, and they need our help more than ever. If you’d like to contribute a monetary donation, you can do so on the run sign-up page or hand it to Sorita or Jason before the run.

Let’s keep the holiday spirit going at the post-run gathering! Bring a batch of your favorite homemade cookies to share with the group, and Fleet Feet will provide beverages. Afterward, please support local West Reading businesses for a well-deserved refreshment or some festive shopping.

We will send people off at different start times so that we arrive at the top together at approximately 10:00am for our annual group picture. Please read the details below on pace groups.
It is approximately 4 miles from Fleet Feet West Reading to the Pagoda. We expect 15 minute milers to take about 52 minutes, 12 minute milers to take 42 minutes, 10 minute milers to take 35 minutes, 9 minute milers to take 32 minutes and 8 minute milers to take 28 minutes. Due to these estimates (with a 10 minute buffer added) we created the following start times for each group. Please sign-up for your respective start time.

15 minute milers = Depart for Pagoda at 8:45 am
12 minute milers = Depart for Pagoda at 8:55 am
11 minute milers = Depart for Pagoda at 9:00 am
10 minute milers = Depart for Pagoda at 9:05 am
9 minute milers = Depart for Pagoda at 9:12 am
8 minute milers = Depart for Pagoda at 9:16 am
Please obey all traffic rules and stay on the sidewalks through the city once we start climbing the main road to the Pagoda please run against traffic and cross over to run with traffic at the blind spots.
