Mokashi, has captivated generations with its emotional depth. Now, [SH1] this literary gem is being reimagined through the art of Dastangoi—an ancient Indo-Persian storytelling tradition. Titled Dastan-e-Ramji, this unique performance by Akshay Shimpi and Neha Kulkarni breathes new life into Mokashi’s classic. Through rhythmic prose, dynamic storytelling and minimalistic yet powerful presentation, the tale of Ramji unfolds in a manner that blends the richness of Marathi literature with the fluidity of oral tradition.
